Our library would specifically benefit from a 3D printer and a Silhouette cutter. Students can explore their interests through hands on activities and projects. Students' social and emotional learning will be enhanced as they plan, make decisions and work together to create. The purpose of a MakerSpace is to introduce students to technology and ideas that will spark their creativity and imagination. A 3D printer can do big things in a small library. The 3D printer can be used to create original designs submitted by students as well as prepare items for other MakerSpace activities, it can also be used to enhance the curriculum and lessons of the teachers. The Silhouette can be used to cut paper, cardboard, and fabric for MakerSpace projects.
