Every student has been affected by COVID 19, even if they don't realize or admit it. I am wanting social-emotional group ideas/curricula for my students. I use play therapy and art therapy to help our students. My students are suffering from a lack of socializing for the last 2 years and need these social skill ideas to help them progress and want to go to school. We are wanting some new markers and a cutting system (Cricut) along with some tools to help not only cut out projects for decorating but also for art and play therapy projects. Art therapy and developing hobbies is a way for students to develop coping skills so they are better able to regulate their emotions and distract from their problems. Every student needs to be aware of themselves in order to truly know themselves. We work on a journal that we personalize and this would allow each student to have something just for them. I am requesting a puzzle for play therapy as well as a ball that includes conversation starters as a get to know you activity for therapy groups.
