The ball seating will be used in our counseling office to provide flexible seating that allows kids to move as we talk and process through hard feelings. The clay will allow every child and teacher in our school to make their own calming stone to keep in their desk and use whenever they feel they need it. The weighted vests and lap pads will be distributed to students school-wide as needed to help ease anxiety and stressors as they arise. The pop-it puzzles, spiky balls, and stencils will be used by kids as coping tools as they work through anxiety and trauma in our counseling office. Our kids need exposure to a broad range of coping tools and skills so that they can learn to utilize them throughout their lives.
