These materials will allow me to better demonstrate in class. Also, they will allow me to do some additional projects that I would like to. In discussing the laws of motion I want to have them build a bottle rocket explaining how those laws affect their design and build. Then launch them using compressed air so they can evaluate their rocket. The Van De Graaf generator will be a fun way to demonstrate how static electricity builds up and releases energy. The rocks and minerals are so I can give them hands-on examples we discuss.
