Right now I have students who struggle with ADHD and anxiety. It is so difficult for these students to sit for extended periods of time. They end up having to take frequent breaks during class time. The standing desks that I am requesting, allow for a choice of seating for those struggling with ADHD or anxiety. It also gives them the freedom to work out their anxiety while still being able to stay in class. The bar at the bottom of the deck allows the students to rock their legs back and forth to calm them down.
