Headphones: Uses for the classroom: Audio recordings - Seesaw, Flipgrid, Online Voice Recorder, Book Creator, Google Slides, Canvas, Vocaroo, etc Videos - Seesaw, Adobe Spark, Adobe Rush, Book Creator, webcamera.io, Canvas, Screencastify, Loom, etc. Students can verbally explain their thinking using the headphones. This will help teachers know how to help students. Students’ use of technology has increased because of the impacts of Coronavirus. Having quality headphones will allow students to use their devices to show their understanding, to create videos explaining their thinking, and communicate better while students are remote learning. Teachers can make audio directions so that younger students can be independent so that the teacher can work with small groups of students at their level. Teachers can also create screencasts to model for their students. The headphones will help create better audio quality for videos. Magnifiers: Use for word studies, science experiments, observing in science, looking at writing deeper. This will give students a hands on experience as we try to catch up all students from the impacts of COVID-19 as well as deepen their knowledge with the 2nd grade core. Language Sorts: Use in small group instruction, fast finishers, and whole class language art lessons. This will be a great resource when helping students that need language interventions due to the impact of COVID-19. It will also help me differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all my students.
