My elementary students LOVE nonfiction books. They come in with a specific subject in mind that they want to read about, but they can't find that subject on the shelves by themselves. These magazine holders will be used as separators between the different topics in the elementary nonfiction section of the library. Using these to separate subjects, along with signage attached to them, will help my elementary students find exactly what they are looking for in the library. Having a way for students to find books on their own helps them to feel independent and in charge of their own learning.
