Our District has new software that allows the teacher to project whatever she is doing from the Ipad to project to the smartboard! Despite many attempts to fix my smartboard, many of the "smartboard" features don't work. I currently can only use it as a screen for my projector. I am one of the few teachers in the school who does not have an IPAD in her class. Having this technology would be so great for classroom management, engagement, as well as keeping students on task. It would allow me to manipulate what is being projected from anywhere in the room and not have to be tied to my desktop. It would help save time, ease transitions, and allow students to learn more while they are in the classroom! The skills and concepts learned in Kindergarten are the foundation for a student's education. If I am able to help my students stay on track with core standards and learning objectives, It will allow them to more fully reach their potential academically!
