This past year, students have struggled coming back into a full time classroom environment. With the help of wellness materials such as flexible seating, weighted lap blankets, and noice cancelling headphones, students can focus on their work. This can also help them to limit their distractions that come from thirty students being in the room at a time. With the help of these materials, students will be able to more comfortably sit around the room and focus on their work, thus aiding their overall performance during the school day. Lastly, since our school does not have access to SmartBoard technology. The use of an iPad and Apple TV will give me casting technology. This will give me the ability of mobility during a lesson, to update writing and math problems in real time, and to use student involvement in the process. It will give me the freedom to not be tied to either a white board or doc cam during instruction, which can also help with behavioral management. These additional instructional tools will enrich student learning and involvement drastically, which is what they deserve!
