Many of my students are not strong readers and lack access to quality literature at home and in the classroom. This was emphasized during the COVID - 19 pandemic when students were confined to their homes. Many students passed the time playing games and watching television rather than reading, and their reading levels suffered. My goal is to bring quality literature to my classroom to engage students and make them lifelong readers. The novel And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie is a classic that will engage students and engross them in its wonderful mystery. The book is also a great example of the mystery genre which we will be studying in class.
