These books will allow my students to find engaging reading material on their individual levels, thus allowing them to gain confidence in their reading abilities. I am a new third grade teacher and do not have a classroom library for my students, I feel it is important that students choose books that interest them, thus allowing them to develop a LOVE of reading. Reading is a skill that will benefit my students for the rest of their lives. A LOVE of exercise is also something that I strive to develop in my students, I believe that all children need to get up and move and develop their fine as well as their gross motor skills, movement is a way of expressing themselves. Reading and exercise go hand in hand in developing a childs mind and self worth.
