Teaching remotely was the hardest thing I had to do as a teacher. Having to share a screen with my students was too difficult because my laptop alone did not allow me to teach effectively and interactively with my students. I found myself stuck to the front of the class and not being a very effective teacher. Most students are computer savvy and my technology limited my engaged my students. Having something like an iPad would make my students more excited to learn and help me be a better teacher. I can use the iPad to project a lesson in the classroom projector and I won’t be stuck to a podium. I teach elementary students and they need a teacher that can move around the classroom, giving them attention checks and feedback while the lesson is happening. I can use the iPad like a smart board in our class.
