The journals will help students to be able to write down their feelings and interact with them. The colored pencils and arts and crafts supplies will be used to help students express themselves, which can also help with social/emotional learning. I hope that students will be able to continue to process the emotions that they are dealing with on a daily basis in a healthy way. They are going through so much, and COVID-19 is just adding to that. I want to help them to become socially and emotionally competent, and these books will give me ideas for activities to do to help my students.

About my class
