The majority of educators understand that every child learns differently, and at a different pace. Many children require manipulatives, learning aides, fidgets and accommodation. Additionally, many of my students need additional support to help them be successful at learning. I intend to provide STEM kits for water and climate change, math games for fact fluency and learning to solve expressions, a multiplication chart, and more pencils. I would also like to get 7 fidget stools and 24 fidget bands to accommodate my students with sensory and attention needs. Studies show that fidget tools and seating variety help students focus and enjoy their learning environment. With a Donors Choose grant, I would like to purchase up to 7 wiggle stools and 24 chair bands for my classroom. Wiggle stools give students the ability to move, while still being able to focus and learn. Chair bands slide on to chair legs and help students fidget with their feet. Please help me provide that environment for my students!
