The printer, binder, books, and other materials will help students feel and act like real writers with important things to do and say. The use of these materials will assist students in creating books that can be shared with other classmates and their own families. Using these tools and materials will promote the kind of effort that real writers need in order to share their work and get their message across. Children's artwork will be incorporated into their books and the use of the color printer will add interest and importance to their written texts.
