These books will continue to enhance the social and emotional well being of the students in my classroom. My classroom read-aloud is a conversation rich piece of learning where we talk about the characters and relate it to our own lives! Every student book that is read in my classroom is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read and grow. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind, and in picked because they can be applied to our everyday situations. With these new books, my students will be exposed to thoughts and ideas to help them build compassion and understanding for others. The best way to increase empathy is to be exposed to others' situations, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger. This project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word and their own emotions and interactions with others.
