These reading supplemental supplies will provide authentic, engaging reading practice for my students as we try to catch them up from the shutdown. The board games will be used to reinforce concepts through collaborative play. The TIME for Kids subscriptions will provide authentic reading of nonfiction text. The comprehension supplies will be used to independently reinforce learned concepts that need to be mastered. These students deserve my best. With the help from these supplies, I hope to be able to give that to them. I believe that if I can give them my best, they will rise to my expectations and become the leaders I know they can be.
