My students love hands-on learning, and COVID, unfortunately, has taken a lot of that away from them. I plan to use these materials to give a little bit of that magical discovery experience back to them. I'd like to help me students "see" sound waves and create their own instruments to experiment with the science of waves. The materials I've requested will be used to give my students visual representations of how sound waves are created, the effects that sound waves have on objects around them, and the beauty that sound can create through improvised music. My students will be able to do hands-on experiments in a COVID friendly space because there will be enough materials for all of the students to explore and create on their own.
