As a reading teacher I work with the most adorable but struggling students that are not only learning to read but are also learning English. My students are further behind due to COVID and need updated resources to help close their learning gaps. Vocabulary Photo Cards, Alphabet Sound Tubs, Sight Word Picture flash cards and English Language Development writing centers with updated pictures will help my students learn English vocabulary as they learn phonics skills to close learning gaps quicker. English language learners learn faster through mulit. sensory learning. Magnetic Letters, Sentence Builders, Phonics Word Builders Magnetic Kits, CVC Activity Cards and Push Pop Fidget toys will allow my students to experience multi. sensory learning. Making the proper English letter sounds is the first step to speaking and reading in English. I would like to make a Sound Wall in my classroom that shows pictures of children's mouths articulating each English sound so students can reference it while they are learning. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will allow me to buy and make this and other resources to help my students reach their goals.
