Using puppets is a good way to help the shyer kids participate in class. They help them have a voice without having to put themselves in the lime light. Puppets are a really good way to start the younger kids out to tell stories. Sound effects are also useful to tell stories for the older kids who love to make noise. Musical instruments are a great source for sound effects. These items will really allow all the students to create, perform and critique as they become better acquainted with theater.
