These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place where my students really enjoy reading. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to choose books, that will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level and build confidence in their reading skills. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. These decodable books will also help with students in a small group setting and with struggling readers during interventions. This project will help bridge the gap that Covid has created and bring my students up to their grade level.
