Many of my students don't have books in their homes. These darling students are learning to love reading, but are so limited with resources. I would love them to have books in their homes on their reading/interest level. We are a Title 1 school. Many families within our boundaries are working hard to pay rent, buy food, etc, but don't have money for extras. There is something about having your own book collection... reading and reading the books you love. It is wonderful for my students to have books to read, love, and cherish!
