The iPad and apple TV will make our math classroom more interactive and will allow me and my students to share information on the projector. Our classroom has a support beam in the middle that makes viewing difficult from some areas of the room. Being able to adjust the size of the image being projected depending on what is needed at the moment while still walking among the students or presenting in front of the class will be very helpful. Now I'm constantly moving back and forth to the desk in order to do so. Our math class works in groups a lot. I will be able to let the groups use the iPad to share answers, pictures of their solutions or work problems in real-time. I think it will make the lessons more fun and help the kids be more invested and ready to share when it is their turn. Being able to share their work from the security of their own desk with their group is less intimidating than walking up to the whiteboard alone. Adding a few more calculators to the classroom set, will allow students to check out a calculator as needed. These calculators have some great functions that will allow students to check their work after they practice hands-on in class.
