Knowledgeable teachers are the best resource that a school has in helping students to learn, but a knowledgeable teacher with resources in which to teach is even more powerful. The materials that I have requested in my Donors Choose Project goes towards those teaching resources for Science for my whole grade level to share. Show a student a pictures, they may learn; but allow them to do experiments that excite and build new knowledge - and they never forget. Doing science is more powerful than watching science. Allowing students to build upon what they know and create experiments build meaning. This should be the goal of every teacher. Please help me to procure these needed resources.
