I currently see 3-4 students at a time in my speech-language therapy groups. When I have to ask them individual questions, they do not get many repetitions as they have to take turns responding. I have found that using chrome books is a great way for the kids to all be engaged and give answers at the same time. This triples or quadruples the number of responses they each give which is critical when working with students with disabilities. During the pandemic and online learning, I purchased a large number of Boom Cards to use with my students online. I would like to continue to use these engaging resources during in person learning, but do not have access to enough chrome books. If I have enough chrome books for each of the students in my group, they can each participate in the activity and give individual responses. This helps me know who is understanding the concept and who needs more help.
