My students have significant learning disabilities. Sometimes, these disabilities make is hard for them to sit still, manage their emotions, learn the way typical students learn, and many other things. These items that I am requesting will help in multiple ways. The chair bands, timers, and noise canceling head phones will help students to regulate their emotions and participate in activities when they are having sensory overload. The number lines, base 10 blocks and other manipulatives will help them to learn in new ways and one on one with support. The toner, pencils, scissors, crayons, etc., will help me to provide the supplies they need to learn in other environments, outside of their general education classroom.
