Reading a good book is an enjoyable experience and does much to boost our well-being. Providing our students with engaging, high-interest and relevant reading material will greatly improve our students' love of reading and learning. It will also benefit them academically, as they get practice reading their favorite books. With these new books, the students at our school will have access to the books they want and dearly love. When things are uncertain and learning looks different every day, the presence of good books in our lives is not just a tool for learning but a constant in a world that never stops changing. Our students will thrive with these books. As Charles W. Eliot said, "Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers."
