In light of Covid-19, my students will be able to continue to have wonderful social-emotional connections as they learn the core PE curriculum. Studies have shown that physical exercise directly affects our ability to learn, problem-solve, and handle stress. This new equipment will be such a blessing to help students develop their skills in throwing and catching, eye-hand coordination, rolling and bowling, and how to demonstrate good sportsmanship. There are many emotional connections made in the gym. They learn to play safe, play hard, and play fair. They learn about their personal successes and limits. They are able to make mistakes in a safe environment. The equipment will be durable, kid-friendly, and easy to manipulate.
