The requested resources with help my students social and academic learning by enhancing their reading skills through classroom read alongs. With the class set of Harry Potter books, my students will be able to follow along and increase their fluency and comprehension skills. The books I selected in my request include many biographies and Newberry Award winning books. This will allow my students to have better access to books required for their monthly book reports. This will also enhance my students learning through providing them with a wider variety of books to choose from and connect with. This is important because literature is a great way for students to further their academic learning, as well as create a safe place for them to escape to through the stories in these books. The headphones will benefit my students by allowing them to use our online reading program efficiently. They will be able to better focus without the distraction of hearing other students computers. With the order of many books and headphones, the students will be have a better chance to fall in love with learning through the books and resources in our classroom.
