My students range in ages from 11-16 years old. We have four classrooms of students with multiple disabilities, which include students with Autism, Down Syndrome, and genetic syndromes. They are an energetic and hard working group of students, but struggle in various social skills situations. My students participate in Special Olympics and recreational inclusion groups at school. They have dreams of working in the community and living independently, and we work on daily living skills everyday so they can achieve their greatest potential. My students exceed my expectations on a daily basis and I am amazed at their continuous progress.

About my class
