Over the past couple of years we have learned that when students have hands on materials and manipulatives they will have high levels of success. Social and emotional resources will also help them express their emotions and feelings so they can focus on the academics in the classroom. We believe that all students can learn to read and create when they have experiences which are relevant to them. Students need more hands on experiences with literacy, STEM, and social emotional materials to give them access to a quality education. These materials help students with learning disabilities, students learning English, as well as students who are ready to be pushed onto advanced academic levels.

About my class
