I want students to learn about the process of 3D printing and how the printer itself works. I want students to become designers and makers and share their creations with the world. I feel like there is a window of opportunity right now where students haven't been able to be hands-on and now they can! Imagine teaching students about mathematics concepts like distances and area by having them create their own 3D mazes or about volume by having them create a 3D printed mold and calculating the amount of chocolate needed to fill it. So many things we can do-- *The ability to study the structure and function of plants and animals *The ability to print out and use 3D energy models *Design with precise math skills. *Complement STEM curriculum and concepts. *The ability to learn by failing. The possibilities for truly engaging, authentic learning in maths and science with Makers Empire are endless!
