Adjusting to the new ways of learning as a result of COVID-19 has been a hard adjustment for my students. It has been challenging as a teacher to keep students focused and positive about their learning experiences. Integrating technology into their daily routine will help promote participation in the classroom. Using an iPad will help encourage students to participate in grammar and math lessons. I will be able to project difficult problems on the board and have students work the problems out on the iPad. By having an iPad that we can use as our class iPad, my students would be motivated to learn! Students will have new ways to learn the curriculum and make connections through hands-on learning. By using math manipulatives I can help students understand difficult math concepts. Using small prizes and incentives for external motivation will encourage students to work hard every day.
