My students would love to see life coming to this world! I have done this once before with another teacher, and it is so much fun! The students learn about the baby chicks and the life cycle. They then get to see the cycle first hand and apply what they have learned so far. Making predictions what the baby chicks will look like is part of the experiment, as we will be learning about genetics. Having the students learn a topic in class is one thing, but having a live walk through process is a whole other level of learning.
