Students are hungry and they must have access to snacks in order to take advantage of their learning opportunities. Fig and protein bars are substantial enough to satisfy those hunger pangs and get them back to learning. Because of the pandemic, more students than ever are below their grade levels and providing manipulatives like dice for generating math questions will help get them back on track. My students love working with dice to be involved in the equations they solve. Our class has a beautiful plot of land for gardening but we often find there are not enough tools for the children to work together. Garden tools will help give them all access to the wholesome work they crave.
