Discovering the past in new ways, students will dive into the new graphic novels, bringing the past alive for students who want to learn and read in different ways. Then, students will connecting technology to this world by allowing students to then bring their imagination alive and show the world how they can visually show what they are learning. Before needing creating the end of year project, a graphic representation of learning, students can learn about the past in new and exciting ways using the iPads to explore the past by visiting the learned about sites that they can't visit in person through virtual field trips. Then, using the iPads, students will create their own version of a graphic novel to put their learning of history on display using story boards and connecting through the classroom AppleTV to present to the class.
