This project will enhance student excitement about reading. The students will be working toward a common goal to excel in reading and receive incentives along the way. A love for reading is crucial to instill in students at a young age. Their confidence of reading will be boosted through this project. Students are able to read genres that interest them and create a greater desire to continue to read books that they love! Students will track goals and personal accomplishments through the use of data folders to motivate student learning. The project will include binders for Data Folders to track students’ reading progress, notebooks for Literacy Circles, fidgets for reading incentives, and desk dividers for private reading recordings.
