This is an academic start for the history books! My students missed PreK due to Covid shut downs, part or all of Kindergarten because of Covid issues, and have in and out this year as well. That is a rough start for any first grade student. The supplies I am asking for will help students be successful in the classroom setting and many items can be used at home if the student needs to self-isolate. I want my students to have an amazing, successful year where they can catch up, continue to learn, interact safely, and have the materials they need to succeed. The number paths and white board materials will help the students visualize math and manipulate numbers so they can be successful this year. The BOB Books, whisper phones, and mirrors will help students gain strength in phonemic and phonological awareness as well as build their reading fluency skills.
