For my project, I would like to gather some new resources for teaching social skills to my students. I work in a special education classroom and a lot of the students require social skills minutes. I would love to find some new materials that will help me know how to teach my students and help them to be more interactive in the lessons. My goal is to also use more books/stories to help them apply the lessons to real life scenarios/situations. This will hopefully help them see how they apply what they learn in class in all sorts of different situations. With covid over the past 2 years, some of my younger students haven't had a lot of practice interacting with other children around their same age. I am hoping that this will make it easier for me to teach some appropriate interactions to them and help fill in some of their holes that they are missing.
