My students love to learn and play. Why not combine those to make learning fun? With the past, current, and unfortunately probably future interruptions in learning, keeping kids interest and motivation can be difficult, especially when the learning is in areas where students have previously struggled. Math games and activities will make a great addition to our small group and morning work times when students have a bit more freedom to choose what they want to work on. Practicing social skills like turn taking, peer tutoring and teaching, and communicating socially and academically make these resources perfect for my students.
