All students do not learn the same way. However, when it comes to math instruction, all students come to school the first day, get a workbook, and are expected to learn math standards at the same rate as their peers. The materials I am ordering will offer teachers assessments and activities to differentiate math instruction based off individual student needs. The pandemic widened the gap of learning abilities, and scores in math are showing deficiencies. Teachers desperately need help identifying these gaps and offering individualized instruction based off data. These resources provide both assessment and instruction resources. If I am granted these resources, I will offer professional development on individualized math instruction for the first, second, and third grade teachers. I will model how to administer assessments and how to implement the program into their daily routine. After that, I will provide them with the resources.
