These materials will provide opportunities for the children I work with to communicate and imagine together. We will use these toys with their augmentative systems so they can describe what they want and how they want to pretend together. This is an essential part of learning and communication! We will also be using these toys to engage with children in the regular classroom during indoor recess and other social activities. Overall, we hope to encourage group interactions and group cooperation in the classroom with the vision that this skill will carryover into the child's home life.
