My students will use these dry erase globes to learn about how the location of volcanos and earthquakes helps us learn about plate tectonics. My students will also use the dry erase globes to map out the lithospheric plates (major and minor) and be able to see how the surface of our earth is changing as these plates move. My students will also use these dry erase globes to help them understand how the rotation of Earth affects weather through the Coriolis Effect. They will actually be able to draw the pattern of currents that are created because of the way our Earth rotates.
