The pandemic has caused a disruption in student growth and achievement by robbing our students of needed classroom time and motivational momentum between school closures and schedule disruptions. A focus on independent reading to bridge the gap between standard expectations and Covid-world realities is a crucial factor in preparing students for college and career readiness. For this project, I'm seeking assistance to build a classroom library where students can check out books and continue learning whether school is physically in session or not. This project aligns seamlessly with our high school's Wasatch Reads Program: "Every child. Every family. Every night."
