The materials in this project will be used in individual and small-group settings to provide additional support for all of my students. Each of these students learns in unique ways so giving them a variety of learning tools ensures that each students' needs will be met. Every student deserves a chance to catch up and keep up. These students need personal time and practice, which these materials will help with. My plan to do this involves one-on-one teaching with students who need extra time and guidance in their education, as well as specific tier-two instruction provided to all who need it. The writing boards will provide students with personal literacy and writing practice all on their laps, without needing to go through pages and pages of worksheets. The power pens with literacy and math cards provide a great review for students, with self-pacing provided through each pen and positive reinforcement delivered. The sight word, writing, phonemic awareness, and phonics cards and centers allow for small group guided plans, and I intend to use them to support struggling students with reteach and practice opportunities. The sound phones help students to hear themselves as they talk and read, helping them to practice pronunciation and articulation. Finally, the social-emotional matching cards allow for the students who missed out on important social skills due to Covid-19 to practice how to respond to situations they may face in school. Overall, these materials will mostly be used in small group and one-on-one settings with students who can use these resources to support their learning. I will also be using them to help reteach difficult subjects, especially for students who missed out on a solid foundation of their academic and social-emotional learning during the pandemic.
