I teach a STEM specialty to 20 classes of K-5th grade students. My students are given real world challenges and tasked with using the Engineering Design Process to come up with working solutions. We also use the design process to explore engineering, building and problem solving. In order to have hands on learning experiences, the students need building supplies, especially reusable supplies. In the coming months, the students will be engineering several projects including bridges, pin ball machines, bobsled runs and magnetic car tracks. These supplies will help them build their projects and learning about careers in Engineering and Design.

About my class
