The tablets that I have requested will help my students' academic learning in light of COVID-19 by helping them be engaged at school and not focused on the stresses happening behind the scenes currently. Our classroom uses Chromebooks for technology; however, there are some limitations. I would like to incorporate small group sets of tablets to encourage engaging activities such as stop motion videos for science and recording "advertisements" for topics that we are learning about. I would love to provide my students with a way to be engaged in class that helps them with the stresses of attending school and being away from families during this pandemic. Being able to work together with a partner or a small group to create fun and engaging materials will keep this little community of learners focused and happy!
