I work with students with learning disabilities. Many of them are already 2-3 years behind their peers and Covid-19 has caused them to fall even farther behind. The materials I can purchase through Teachers-Pay-Teachers will give students the opportunity to have a more engaging and differentiated learning experience helping them to find confidence and joy in the learning process. It will give me access to help them with not just academic skills but with social emotional lessons from Teachers-Pay- Teachers, as well. Having some high interest reading materials in my classroom can help them to not only practice their reading skill more often, but also help them to learn reading can be enjoyable and maybe even fun.
