My list is full of books students have requested to read and things I know my students will enjoy. I am a first year teacher looking to build my classroom library and help my students gain a love of reading. Many of my students are struggling readers and I have included books I know will captivate them. My goal is to find every student at least one book that they cannot put down! I will be using these books for compare and contrast lessons, lessons on story telling, informational texts, and more! I have also included a few items for art and STEM projects as well.
