These supplies, such as a mini vernier, an accelerometer, and a motion detector, will be used to help students measure elements of the world around them. This will allow students to draw connections between different types of equations to real-world applications, as well as to give them opportunities for hands-on learning that will increase knowledge retention, make learning fun, and inspire the next generation of thinkers, engineers, and thinkers. Each sensor on this list will let students measure a new real-world phenomenon and explore why it happens the way it does. The motion detector in particular is useful for exploring motion and introducing principles of basic physics.
